A Better Electrical Company — Starting from the Inside Out
Most electrical companies talk about quality work. We do too. But Epik started with a different question: what happens when you build a company around taking care of the people doing the work? Electricians who are well-trained, well-equipped, respected, and genuinely happy to show up in the morning don’t just do better work — they treat your home and your project the way they’d treat their own. That’s not a side effect. That’s the whole model.
Kindness
Kindness is our compass. It shapes how we talk to each other, how we walk a customer through their options, how we leave a space when the work is done. And it builds on itself — kindness begets trust, trust begets better work, better work begets lasting relationships. People notice when they’re treated with kindness. We want them to notice.
Excellence
We hold ourselves to a standard that doesn’t shift based on who’s watching. That means quality work on every project, but it also means giving our electricians the training, the tools, and the room to get better at what they do. Excellence isn’t a finish line — it’s the way we work, every day, on every job.
Trust
We show up when we say we will. We tell you what we find, what it’ll cost, and what your options are — even when the honest answer isn’t the most profitable one. Trust is built in small moments, and we take every one of them seriously.
Curiosity
Great troubleshooting starts with the question why — not just what. Curiosity is what drives us to find the real root of a problem, not just the fastest patch. It’s also what keeps us current on evolving technology, code changes, and smarter ways to do the work. An electrician who stops being curious stops getting better.

Epik Electric Services
Need an electrician you can count on? We take on residential and commercial electrical work across Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and San Juan Counties.
New Construction Wiring
From rough-in to final trim, we wire new residential and commercial builds to code and to a standard that holds up long after the drywall goes up. We coordinate cleanly with other trades and keep your timeline on track.
Electrical Panel Upgrades
Older panels can't always keep up with how we use electricity today. We upgrade and replace electrical panels to handle modern demand safely, whether you're adding an EV charger, a shop, or just running out of breaker space.
Residential Electrical Repairs and Upgrades
Outlets that don't work, fixtures that need swapping, circuits that keep tripping — we handle the everyday stuff and the bigger upgrades alike.
Commercial Electrical Projects
Office buildouts, retail spaces, restaurants, medical facilities — we've worked across a range of commercial settings. We show up on time, communicate clearly with property managers and GCs, and keep the job moving.
Remodels and Tenant Improvements
Remodels get complicated fast, especially behind the walls. We work with your contractor and design team to reroute, upgrade, and add electrical where it needs to go.
Solar Panel Installation and Related Electrical Work
Jared's first project as an electrician was a 300+ panel solar farm, so solar has been in our DNA from the start. We handle the full electrical side of residential and commercial solar installations, from panel interconnection to permitting support.
EV Charger Installation
We install Level 2 EV chargers for homes and businesses, including the panel work and wiring to support them. We'll help you figure out the right charger placement, circuit capacity, and setup for how you actually use your vehicle.

We love the opportunity to work across Northwest Washington in Skagit County, Whatcom County, Island County, and San Juan County including:

Contact usAbout Epik Electric
I accidentally became an electrician in 2015. My first project was a 300-panel solar farm, and somewhere between the wire pulls and the electrical theory, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve worked across residential, commercial, and industrial projects — everything from new construction and tenant improvements to oil refinery turnarounds.
I’ve been lucky to build great relationships with customers and contractors throughout Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and San Juan Counties. I would be grateful for the opportunity to serve you! Please let us know how we can help.

What’s with the K?
The K in Epik is the symbol for a Bipolar Junction Transistor — a tiny component that lets a small current control a much larger one. Think of it as a gatekeeper that opens the door for the big crowd when the right signal shows up. Small input, big result. That’s how we think about our work — the right people, showing up at the right moment, making something much bigger possible.

What Our Customers Say
Jared at Epik Electric is one of the most competent, professional, and straightforward contractors I’ve ever worked with. He was there when he said he’d be there. Transparent and patient with our questions. His advice was sound, his work was stellar. We now have a from-the-ground-up setup for our homes and electric vehicles, and the whole process went smooth as silk.
Jared at Epik Electric is AMAZING. Honest, fair, on time, and does an incredible job. We hired him for the electrical on our mini-split install in conjunction with Ronk Brothers. The install went flawlessly. Clean, organized, professional. We’ve recommended him to anyone we know looking for electrical work.
If you need a good electrician, call Jared at Epik! He did a lot of work in our condo before and after we moved in — all of it fast and professional. He moved a couple of ceiling fans, and when one wouldn’t work (which means ‘buy a new one’ to me), he got the parts and repaired it. He’s great!
I’ve had Jared at my dental office multiple times for repairs and installs. He goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of electrical services.

We Care About Our Community
